Teresa's story
Teresa resides in the province of Iloilo. She is 54 years old and married. To earn an income, she runs a sari-sari (variety) store, selling basic commodities. She has been in this business for 12 years.
Now she asks for a loan of PHP 45,000 through Kiva’s lending partner CEVI (a microfinance NGO) in the Philippines. She will use this loan to buy assorted groceries.
