Jose Gabriel
A loan of $1,600 helps to buy plastic, wire, nails, tubes, and other materials and to pay for labor to build a greenhouse.
Jose Gabriel's story
Gabriel, age 45, lives with his family in the village of Cahuasqui, canton of Urcuqui, province of Imbabura in northern Ecuador.
Gabriel is a person who has dedicated himself to natural work. He has been trained and likes to perform all types of treatments with natural materials as remedies, and he also performs cures. He does not like chemical products, and so he makes organic fertilizers in the village. Also he works as a laborer and gardener at homes in the area. This work has permitted him to generate income to support the economy of his household.
Gabriel has decided to grow mushrooms and to build a greenhouse for that production. Therefore he requests a loan to buy plastic, wire, nails, tubes, and other materials and to pay for labor to build a greenhouse. That will permit him to launch his business and to have a good profit margin.
Gabriel is very grateful for the support Kiva provides.
