Benkadi Group's story

Seydou is the man holding the rope around the sheep in the photo. Aged 34 years, married, his wife works in a restaurant. He did not go to school, is the father of 4 children, 2 of whom attend school and are aged from 1 to 9 years old. He has been doing this activity of raising sheep for more than a decade. He purchases his stock in the surrounding markets.

After sale, his profit can vary from between 30 000 to 50 000 FCFA. With his income, he is able to cover his family's needs such as health care, clothing his children's education and food.

Seydou is on his fifth cycle and hopes to have further funds in the future in order to take care of his children's welfare.
