A loan of $9,000 helps a minority woman-owned agency (& 2x Kiva borrower) buy home & vehicle to provide seniors w/ 24/7 in-home care.
Natasha's story
I grew up with a strong commitment to caring for others, which led me to pursue a career in healthcare. As a nurse and founder of Kolofon Health, a minority woman-owned staffing agency, I’ve seen firsthand the difference that compassionate, high-quality care can make. I launched Kolofon Health with the goal of creating an environment where healthcare workers feel valued and can thrive, while also serving seniors who deserve dignified, independent living. We have been open for 2 years and have hired 32 as-needed employees which is amazing. We are ready to expand our services for families looking for a home to provide their loved one with the care that they deserve. We will offer a respite room also along with transportation for our clients.
My passion for this business stems from my belief that everyone deserves to age with respect and security, surrounded by a team that truly cares. What drives me every day is knowing that Kolofon Health not only provides skilled care for seniors but also creates opportunities for our staff to grow, from entry-level roles to leadership positions. With this loan, I’m excited to take the next step in our journey, securing a home where we can extend our mission and provide a warm, supportive place for seniors who need it most.
