Las Capillitas Group
A loan of $4,000 helps a member to buy and sell shoes.
Las Capillitas Group's story
The “Las Capillitas” group is made up of responsible women entrepreneurs who are committed to improving their families' quality of life. They live in popular neighborhoods where living conditions are normal.
Such is the case with Mrs. Cielo, who is 60 years old, single, with 2 children in university. She has worked buying and selling shoes to friends, family members, and neighbors in nearby neighborhoods for 13 years. This business has enabled her to earn income in order to be able to support the expenses of her household and, thanks to this activity, she has been able to afford an education for her children.
With her loan, she'll buy more shoes in order to offer a variety to her clients.
Cielo hopes to be able to establish her business in a storefront, as currently she sells from door to door.
The rest of the group is made up of the ladies Pilar, Maritza, Suni, Raquel, Juanita, Lourdes, and Lucrecia, women who, alongside their families, fight to get ahead.
In this group: Maria Del Pilar , Maritza, Suni Daled, Raquel, Juanita Del Rosario, Maria De Lourdes, Maria Del Cielo, Lucrecia Del Carmen
