Asifa's story

Financial constraints alongside the want for a better life and good quality education for her four children are only a few but valuable factors that encouraged Asifa to start her business selling animals by taking a loan from Kashf Foundation. Asifa is 42 years old and is a separated woman.

She buys animals (baby goats & calves) at low prices, raises them and then sells them out in the market at higher prices. She makes enough through her business to contribute to the family income. She also sells milk to generate an extra amount of income. She needs to improve her business to bear her household expenses.

For this reason, she contacted Kashf Foundation and applied for a loan of PKR 115,000 to purchase more animals to increase her sales. She is very experienced and has good contacts in the market. With this loan, she will definitely expand her business and income level.
