Manuela
A loan of $2,000 helps to buy a dairy cow and milking equipment.
Manuela's story
Manuela is a married, 73 year old indigenous woman surrounded by a lot of love from her children and grandchildren who are always close by, helping her with agricultural work (mainly raising dairy cattle) that she continues doing despite her age.
Manuela is responsible with her obligations and business and these are values she transmits to her children and grandchildren. She lives with her husband in a small house.
She has been doing livestock farming for more than 40 years so she has significant experience in the proper raising of dairy cattle. She wants to increase the number of dairy cows she owns and purchase milking equipment which will allow her to modernize the milking process so she can rest a little, as up until now she's been doing it manually which takes a lot of effort.
That's why she's requesting a loan from Kiva, and she will return their trust in her by paying the loan back in full.
