Contra Corriente Group's story
Marilina is an engaged member of the group Contracorriente. She has two children, for whom she works tirelessly and with love so that they can get ahead.
Marilina has her own store selling bed sheets and clothes, a business that allows her to work from home so that she can be close to her loved ones. In the beginning, she only sold perfumes, but then she decided to diversify her products and focus on this new promising sector.
After joining the group, Marilina obtained additional capital she invested in expanding her business allowing her to have a wider and more attractive variety of products for her customers. She dreams of having a bigger business to have the stability she needs to accomplish her goal of buying a new home for herself and her children.
Marilina is asking for a loan to buy quilts, comforters, towels, and bed sheets to stock up her inventory.
Other members of the group sell perfumes and cleaning products, are manicurists, and have grocery stores, hardware stores, and other businesses.
