Gloria Patricia and her family live in the city of Portoviejo. It is a city rich in the production of vegetables, legumes, and tropical fruits for internal consumption. It has beaches and a variety of tourist attractions.

Gloria is a very hardworking woman. To help with part of the household expenses and her own expenses, she works making and selling coffee, and a variety of sandwiches, made with chicken, pork and cold cuts. Glaria's customers also ask for home delivery. She sends orders to homes for a delivery fee. In her free time she sells Colombian coffee and sheet sets. She leaves her merchandise on credit, and collects payment every eight days.
