Maria Del Rosario
A loan of $2,400 helps to buy food for her chickens and hens, as well as seeds, insecticides and fertilizers.
Maria Del Rosario's story
Maria Del Rosario and her family live in 24 de Mayo, a place of hard-working people, mostly dedicated to farm work and selling their produce.
She is a hard-working woman who, together with her husband, is looking for a way to earn an honest living. She works raising chickens and hens. She collects the eggs, incubates some of them and sells the rest to neighbours and acquaintances in the area. Likewise, once the chickens and hens are of an adequate size and weight, she sells them to merchants who come to her place, or she slaughters them and sells them by weight to neighbours and acquaintances.
Part of the loan is also used for farming. Currently, they are clearing the plots to plant corn and peanuts in the winter season. This is how she manages to continue and this is thanks to the help of the loans, for which she is very grateful.
This loan will be used to buy food for the chickens and hens, as well as seeds, insecticides and fertilizers.
