German Pomares Group
A loan of $2,350 helps a member to purchase sequins, fabric, wood, and adhesive.
German Pomares Group's story
From Jinotepe, Nicaragua, meet the Germán Pomares association in loan cycle number 4. It is made up of eight clients who characterize themselves as being organized and responsible. The businesses which predominate are selling food, selling tortillas, selling clothing, and making typical crafts.
Andrea (wearing a black and white patterned dress and seated) is 56 years old, married, and has three children (two sons and a daughter). Five people live in her house.
Her business is making typical national crafts and she has had it for 15 years. What she likes about her business is the earnings. The challenge she has faced is when there is scarcity in the material she uses.
She will use the loan for sequins, fabric, wood, and adhesive. Her hope and dream for the future is to continue investing in her business. She advises women to continue working to get ahead with their businesses and, above all, for them to generate their own income.
You can be part of her progress!
