Adi Alouisa
A loan of $550 helps to buy a steel pounder, packaging supplies, etc.
Adi Alouisa's story
Adi Alouisa wants to grow her business of selling kava, a drink enjoyed socially by all the peoples of the Pacific. When their own supply of kava runs out, villagers must travel elsewhere to buy this traditional drink.
Adi Alouisa requested a loan, which she will use to start her own kava business and buy essential equipment, such as storage containers, to keep the brew cool and fresh. She grows the kava pepper plant whose pounded, ground root is the main ingredient. She wants to earn additional income so that she send her two children to college.
