Manuel Ernesto's story
Manuel is 57 years old, he studied up to ninth grade at school. He is in a common-law relationship and his partner is a domestic worker and also sells fruits and vegetables. They have three children who depend on him.
Manuel has been selling fruits and vegetables for approximately 18 years, he learned this activity from his in-laws. The business is a few meters from his house, on the side of the Pan-American highway, and he works from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.; his partner supports him. In addition to that, he goes out to sell to other places in his vehicle. In the past, he worked in agriculture.
Manuel needs the loan to buy more fruits and vegetables to continue selling.
