Howaida

Howaida is 39, married, and has three kids in different levels of education. Her husband is a worker with an unstable daily income. She lives in a rural community in upper Egypt. She has a small grocery store that she started two years ago when she asked for a loan from Kiva.

The profit of her previous project helped her to start this grocery store. This project is considered the main source of income for her family. She is asking for a loan to expand her project by buying more products for her grocery store like cheese, soft drinks, biscuits, and rice to increase her sales and her family's income. The profit will help her kids to have a good education, and better life and provide her daughter with the basic needs of living including food, clothes, and education. The profit will also help her to cooperate with her husband to buy a taxi to serve the village people. So, she aspires to get this loan to continue her success and achieve her ambition.
