Dimas Orlando
A loan of $1,500 helps to buy flour, yeast, sugar, salt, and other supplies to make artisanal bread.
Dimas Orlando's story
Dimas lives with his wife, age 40, and three children, ages 15, 5, and 1 year; all are his dependents. He does have relatives living abroad.
Dimas has worked for 8 years making and selling artisanal bread. The business is located at his house, which gives him an advantage because he has all the work tools. He learned the skill with help from a brother. He works every day from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The bread is baked in an artisanal oven.
Dimas is requesting a loan to be able to strengthen his business, to generate more income. He will use the borrowed funds to buy flour, yeast, sugar, salt, and other supplies to make artisanal bread. He hopes that the investment will allow him to have more satisfied customers, to be able to increase his sales and profits. The risk is that he might have problems going out to sell bread using his motorcycle when it rains.
His dream is to have a larger bakery, to be a source of employment and to improve his financial situation to provide an education for his children.
