This group was created November 2, 1995. The women in the group work in commerce and in raising livestock.
MarieHélèn, with her hand raised in the photo, is the group’s representative. She is the married mother of eight children, including two daughters. She also has six other persons to support. She is 54 years old.
She does commerce in millet, hibiscus flowers, and corn. She gets supplies from the markets and resells there. She also raises pigs. She buys piglets, fattens them up, and then resells them. Her earnings enable her to improve her living conditions.
