Elizabeth's story

Elizabeth and Armando are people whose families have instilled in them the importance of honesty and hard work. It is with this mentality that both have given so much importance to these values, instilling them in their own children. With these values, Armando graduated from a technical degree program in industrial maintenance and then started with a major international company whose focus is fabrication of small appliances.

The honesy and hard work led to 21 years in that company, until it was necessary to move the headquarters due to an expansion. At that time, Armando decided not to continue working for them, because leaving his community in Querétaro was not an option.

He decided to put into practice what he had learned in the company where he worked and decided, together with Elizabeth, to start his own business repairing and maintaining machinery. His work is so good that the company he used to work for decided to hire him as an outside contractor so that he could continue serving that area, giving them more work. With the help of his wife, he has maintained the excellence of his work. She has taken over the administration and finances for the business, managing to expand his staff and giving opportunities to students to put their professional skills to work with them.

They need $220,000 pesos to buy tools and machinery necessary to continue meeting the demand for machinery repair work they have already agreed to do for their customers.
