Diamantes De Ita Group's story

Juana is a member of the Diamantes de Itá group. She is the mother of two children and currently works selling fruits and vegetables, which generates income for her to be able to offer her family a better quality of life and to generate revenue to be able to invest in the future.

Thanks to the loan requested in the previous cycle, Juana was able to expand her business and improve her house. With the current loan, she plans to invest in 6 kg of corn, ten boxes of apples, ten boxes of pears, 5 kg of bananas, five bags of lettuce, five bags of green onions, two boxes of tomatoes, two boxes of locote, and two bags of onions.

Juana dreams of finishing her house and growing her business more.

Other group members work selling cosmetics, fruits, store supplies, make peanut sweets, sew, have a variety store, are tailors, and have other businesses.

The child in the photo is the son of one of the group’s members; his face was blurred to protect his identity.
