Una Mano Amiga Group's story

Nilda is a member of the Una Mano Amiga group, which has been fundamental in growing her haberdashery business. It is her main source of income. Thanks to the previous loans, she has been able to expand her business and offer a wider variety of products to her customers, as well as add on to her home. She is profoundly grateful for this group loan system. It has allowed her and her coborrowers to start their own businesses with less difficulty.

With her sights set on a prosperous future, Nilda's dream to grow her business even more so that one day, her children can inherit it. With the present loan, she plans to invest in a wide variety of merchandise, like 20 packages of sheets, 20 packages of towels, 20 packages of comforters, 10 packages of t-shirts, 10 packages of pants, 20 packages of leggings, plus jewelry and haberdashery in large quantities. Her intention is to keep diversifying what she sells so that she can fortify her haberdashery shop.

Other members of the group sell fruit, clothing, run a sales kiosk, a lomito sandwich business, and a haberdashery.
