Malvina

Malvina is a 32-year-old woman from Busila, a village in the Ungheni region of Moldova. She is married and lives with her husband and their daughter. The whole family lives in the house she inherited from her parents. She loves her family very much. Malvina and her husband go abroad to work, trying to earn more money to provide a decent living. They invest all the money they earn in their house.

Now Malvina is building a bathroom and is planning to install a sewer and water supply while she is still at home with her husband. Because of the increased price of building materials, she is unable to finish the bathroom with her own savings.

So, Malvina has decided to ask for a loan from Kiva to cover the needed materials. As a result, she will be able to create sanitary conditions for her family and ensure that her daughter has a healthy environment in which to grow up.
