A loan helped to purchase piglets, feed, and vitamins.

Leonila's story

Leonila hails from the town of Panglao. She is a 42-year-old married woman and has two grown children. She raises and sells hogs to the locals and town settlers in her community. Her husband earns a living by being a mason (working in construction). Aside from hog raising, she sells snack foods for an additional source of income.

She needs funds to support her existing hog raising project. Due to high demand for hogs this season, she needs more funds to keep up. That is why she joined CEVI, to cater to her financial need. Leonila has requested a loan to purchase piglets, feed, and vitamins. This loan could boost her income and slowly enable her to manage her finances.

Leonila is hoping that someday she will be productive and improve her family's living conditions.
