Ingenzi Group's story

Berthe, age 61, is a group leader. She is married with four children between the ages of 24 and 32. The group is called Ingenzi, which means “important” in English. They sell different products and they wish to expand their businesses and make more profits for them to have a better future.

Berthe owns a retail shop in which she sells foodstuffs and has been running this business for the past eight years. With the loan, she would like to buy more rice, maize flour, and sorghum to sell. With the profits from the business, she would like to improve her welfare and to buy a piece of land.
