A loan helped to pay a worker to harvest the land, and also to do some renovations to her home.

Lebibe's story

Lebibe is the mother of one daughter who is 14 years old. Her husband is a car salesman for a private company, working all day for a small salary in order to earn a living,

Lebibe keeps two jobs. She is a cleaner and a babysitter for a private family, and she also works in agriculture, working on her own land. She typically plants wheat, corn and white beans to sell and for her own family's consumption to save on food expenses.

For the first time, she is requesting a loan in order to pay a worker to harvest the land, and she also wants to do some renovations to her home. She is not able to purchase a machine yet to do the harvesting herself and needs to pay someone else to work on the land.

Even with the expense of paying a worker, she is still able to see a profit and contribute to improving her family's living conditions. She really appreciates the help from the lenders, as renovating her home will directly impact their standard of living, and the income from her harvest will help improve their conditions as well. She promises to pay on time.
