A loan helped to expand and improve her products and in this way increase her income for her family.

Francisca's story

Francisca lives in the municipality of Entre Ríos, in the tropics of Cochabamba, alongside her husband with whom she works in the area of agriculture, on their own land which they got in the settlement program. With a lot of effort, they migrated from the provinces of Cochabamba, where they didn't have a sustainable source of income. In the tropics they worked producing plantains and yucca. These crops are their source of income with which they support themselves and purchase what they need for their daily economic sustenance. They harvest 2400 bunches of plantains from 2 hectares and they harvest 400 quintales of yucca on 1 hectare. The sale is part of the same work, selling seasonal products to salespeople. Francisca saw that managing the plantain crop is more practical so she wants a loan to expand the production so, in this way, she wants to increase their income with which she can achieve her proposed goals.
