Samer's story

Samer is a 30-year-old single Palestinian man who lives in a Palestinian refugee camp. Due to the low social and financial situations of Palestinians in Lebanon, especially those who live in camps, he started long ago working in transporting students and employees to cover his needs and expenses. He is a hard worker who has a good reputation among his region.
Samer is working hard and trying desperately to develop his business and improve his living conditions.

Today, he is acquiring a YOUTH loan from Kiva's field partner Al Majmoua to maintain his taxi car engine which is his only source of income, as he wants to renovate his house to make it a better place inside the camp.
Samer hopes to expand his business more in the future to increase his income and improve his living conditions.
