A loan helped to purchase more cartons of milk, sugar, baby milk, and Ovaltine.

Hawa's story

This is 41-year-old Hawa. She is married and has three children, aged 20, 14 and 8 years. She has two additional dependents who live with her because they are her grandchild and her younger sister.

In 2013, Hawa established her provision and assorted items business. Her business is located in the outskirts of the city, and her main customers are the general community. Working six days a week and 12 hours a day, she earns about SLL 1,000,000 every month from this business.

She would like a loan in the amount of SLL 5,000,000. Hawa requires a loan in order to purchase more cartons of milk, sugar, baby milk, Ovaltine, mayonnaise, assorted drinks, laundry soap, etc., for resale.

She hopes that this loan will support her to improve her living standards and increase her earnings. In the future, Hawa plans to buy a delivery van that will help generate more income.

The challenges she faces in her business are financial constraints and the cost of goods increasing in the market due to inflation of prices. She thanks you for your support.
