Elizabeth's story

Elizabeth is 60 years old. She is married and has seven children.

Elizabeth has been keeping poultry as her core business for the last 10 years and it has been profitable. She expanded and now runs a general retail shop where she sells household goods. She has been in this particular business for 1 year now. She earns a monthly income of KES 20,000.

This is her second loan term with VisionFund Kenya. She will use the loan to purchase stock of rice, detergents and baking flour for sugar for resale.

She will use the profits from the expanded business to pay school fees for her children.

Her hopes and dreams are to grow her business to wholesale level, and to help her children complete their education.
