Xinia is a 41 year old woman who's married with three children. She was chosen as the treasurer for the women's bank Camino al Sol (Walk to the Sun) because she has the knowledge and experience to do this job.
This very hardworking woman has always looked for ways to help her family and her husband with household expenses. Her main activity is growing bananas. This is the only source of family income because she does the work together with her husband.
She has already had several loans previously. This women's bank is known for its excellent morale for payments and organization among members. She invested past loans in a banana roaster and now wants to invest in buying seeds to plant one hectare of banana.
The members of this group live in the Bratsi de Talamanca indigenous reserve and lack sources of employment. They have many necessities, which is why they do business in familiar ways.
Xinia has many planes for the future and wants to continue earning a better income to improve her and her family's quality of life. Together with her, there are three other members who invest in the buying and resale of bananas (for example, for a grocery store).
All the members look for sources in common because financing allows them to invest more in their productive activities. With the income, they can cover basic household necessities and deal with the debt acquired because they see an opportunity for growth and improvement.
In this group: Edith, Xinia, Andreina, Crisia
