Valarmarthi is a 35 years old woman who lives in Namakkal district of Tamil Nadu. Valamarthi lives with her family and usually engages in work that involves daily wage earning. She lives with her family of 7 members and the total household income doesn't go beyond Rs. 10,000 a month which makes it difficult to make ends meet. Valamarthi wishes to help the family financially by starting her own business.
As she is trained in saree stone work, she wants to buy the raw materials required and start the business. Valamarthi believes that the increase in the income generation will help her family to live a better life.
