Karabi, the group leader of Kalyani - 01 group, has a small doll-making business. She lives with her family of four in Assam, in the North - Eastern part of India. Karabi needs to increase her savings to secure her children’s future, as the family's existing income level is not enough to manage the household expenses. Thus, she wants to expand her business and earn a higher income.
Karabi is seeking a loan to purchase raw materials such as cotton, beads, cloth, etc. Similarly, the remaining members of the group are also engaged in various income-generating activities and need working capital for the expansion of their respective businesses.
