Maria (the first on the right-hand side with the purple blouse) is a 30-year-old single woman who lives with her nine year old son in a community called Xexac. To gain their income and raise her family, Maria makes a living with the cultivation and sale of coffee. She's been doing this activity for eight years. Fortunately, Maria lives in a very fertile area, which is why she has achieved good coffee harvests.
