A loan helped to buy a cow, to help increase her daily income from $2 a day.


Leap's story

Leap, 45, lives in a rural area of Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia and has four children. To make a living and support her family, she manages and operates a farming business; primary grows rice and sells the corps to local dealers. On average, she is able to make an income of USD 2.00 per day. So far, she has been in this type of business for around twenty years.

For supplementary income, she wants to raise a cow for sale. Because there is not enough money, she is applying for a Kiva loan via HKL to buy a cow. With the supporting from this loan, she hopes that it will help to increase her income. She is thankful to all lenders for their financial support toward poor people.
