Living in Kampong Cham province, Sothy is 27 years old and has five children; only three of them are in school and others are too young to attend school. The sources of her family income are from cassava farming and working on other farms for a fee. She can earn about 39,800KHR per day to support her family’s living.

Due to lack of fund, Sothy is leading a group of three members to apply for a loan via VisionFund. She will manage her loan portion to buy more farmland and pay the labor fees to support her cassava plantation. She hopes her family will have a better living condition through this loan.
