Frank's story

Sun-Spring Charity School is a social enterprise school that provides educational opportunities to the less- privileged children in Ng’ombe Township in Lusaka, Zambia. The school was founded in 2011 and is run by social entrepreneur Frank under Youth for Africa Renaissance and Faculty Organisation. Currently the school is serving about 200 less-privileged children in the township.
The school targets orphans and vulnerable children aged 4 to 16 years of age. It is sustained through school sustainers Fee as opposed to profit school fee’s and supplemented by the school partners and well-wishers.
The Mission and Goal of the school is to make education possible for every child and supplement government and global efforts in achieving education for all.
Since Inception, the school has benefitted more than 500 children who have gone on to qualify to other schools including government schools.
Sun-Spring requests for a loan to purchase ICT educational resources to aid the provision of quality education using modern education technology in the form of the ZEduPad. The ZEduPad is a revolutionary e-learning educational tablet designed for teachers and children, preloaded with content mapped to the Primary School curriculum. This educational tablet is being used in schools throughout Zambia and other countries in Africa.
