A loan helped to buy a lot of fodder for all her farm cattle.

Armine's story

Armine is 28 years old, and she lives with her family in the village Tsovagyugh in the Gegharkunik region. Armine’s husband usually goes to the Russian Federation for abroad work, and Armine mainly alone manages to take care of her farm.

Armine has two boys, 7 and 3 years old. She is happy to mention that her elder greatly helps her in the farm work, and he is a rather strong and active boy.

In her farm, Armine has cows, calves, bulls, heifers, a pig, sheep, lambs and chickens. All this livestock she takes care of and feeds alone, but very skillfully. She sells a lot of milk, meat, macun (national dairy product), cheese and eggs.

Armine mentions that if ever farming brings enough income for her family, she impatiently waits for her husband finally to come back and never to leave them. Still she manages all the farm work alone and hopes for Kiva support.

With this loan amount, she needs to buy a lot of fodder for all her farm cattle.
