A loan helped to buy fertilizers and watermelon seeds in order to grow organic products.

Tashbubu's story

Tashbubu successfully paid off her first loan and she is grateful to the Kiva Fund and everyone who gave her financial support. Her farm now has 15 sheep and she also rents a 1-hectare plot of land, on which she grows watermelons for resale. Her monthly income is 25,000 som (KGS). In order to develop her business further, Tashbubu has turned to Bai Tushum Bank again for a loan of 50,000 som (KGS) to buy seeds, fertilizer and to prepare the land for the sowing. She plans to reinvest the income from this loan back into her business.
