Nelly, at right in the photo, is a member of Ruaka Witethie Self Help Group which joined Hand in Hand Eastern Africa in 2013 to benefit from training, especially in enterprise development, to boost their businesses. She is 42 years old, married and blessed with four children, all in school.
Her economic activity is vegetable and dairy farming. She is borrowing from Kiva to buy manure to boost her farming. She looks forward to a bountiful harvest to generate more income that she plans to reinvest to expand her farming.
Nelly is happy and very grateful to Kiva for helping her to expand her business.
