Gulmira is 30 years old, married, and she has three children. She has a secondary education. As the main source of income for her family, she has been involved in farming since 2006. She started in this business with an initial capital of 15,000 som (KGS). She currently owns three cows and 60 sheep, and she sells milk. She also grows beans and clover on three hectares of her own land and six hectares of leased land. Gulmira's entire organic production is in high demand and brings a good profit of about 10,000 som (KGS). In order to further develop her farming business, Gulmira has turned to Bai Tushum Bank CJSC and requested a loan of 100,000 som (KGS). This loan will help her to buy a dairy cow (in order to produce and sell higher volumes of organic milk) and some mineral fertilizers for farming. She is planning to use the earnings from her loan to further expand her business, which will allow her to give a decent education to her children.
