A loan helped a member to buy seeds, compost and other supplies to continue growing vegetables.

Kuña Guapa Group's story

This committee is called "Kuña Guapa," and it is in its second loan cycle, with 17 members. They want to invest in activities that generate additional income for them, since the majority are rural women who work in agricultural production and animal raising.

One of the members is Dionisia, who works together with her husband and children on a large family farm. They grow all kinds of vegetables, which they take to market to sell when they are ready. Dionisia and her family are very hard-working, and they are making an effort to grow and get ahead.

She is requesting this loan to buy seeds, compost and other supplies in order to continue with the agricultural work that she and her family have been doing.

In this group: Marlene, Dionisia, Paola, Analis, Vilma, Delfina, Sunilda, Candida, Angela, Maura, Rosa, Elva, Francisca, Ana, Lucia, Olga, Juana
