A loan helped to buy seeds to increase her crop yield.

Antiqa's story

Antiqa is 49 years old and a married IDP (internally displaced person) who lives in an IDP settlement with her two children. She is very devoted to her children and earns a living by raising different types of fruit in her large garden. Her children help her and they are able to earn a monthly income of 160 manat, but this does not cover family expenses. Residents of this settlement like to eat fresh fruit, and Antiqa has a lot of clients in the local bazar where she sells her crops. She would like to expand her business and has requested a loan for 1,500 AZN to buy seeds so she can grow more trees on her land.
