Lorohuachana Al Progreso Group's story

The members belong to the community bank “Lorohuachana al Progreso”. This bank is located in the district of Quellouno and belongs to the province of Convención in the department of Cusco.

One member is Ruth Meri. She is married, 34 years old, and has 2 children. She works in the business of growing fruit. She has land where she grows bananas, coffee, mandarins, and oranges. She works from 6:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. She already has several years in this business and it is going very well. Her dream is to expand her land for growing. She is asking for a loan to buy seeds and fertilizers.

The other group members work in the businesses of animal sales, agriculture, grocery stores, and livestock.
