Mairamkan is 49 years old, married and has 6 children. She has been involved in animal husbandry and farming for 26 years. Her husband and children actively help her. Today Mairamkan's farm contains 3 cows, 11 sheep, and a 1.0 hectare land plot, where she grows watermelons, cotton and cucumbers. Mairamkan is a leader of the "Jashtyk" group that, besides her, consists of 2 more people. In order to further develop her business, Mairamkan requested a loan in the amount of 100,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai-Tushum" Bank to buy seeds, fertilizers and plastic for farming needs and to be able to grow ecologically clean vegetables and fruits. The earnings from the business will help improve Mairamkan's and her family's well-being and save money for her son's wedding.
