Ama is 37 years old and married with five children. Her eldest child is 18 years old and the youngest is 5 years old. Her five children are all schooling. Ama lives at Egyirkrom in the Central Region of Ghana. She is a farmer who has been in farming for the past 10 years. Ama has a 10-acre orange farm plantation. Ama used to maintain the farm alone but working on the large farm size is tearing on her health as it is physically too demanding. Ama needs financial assistance to pay for labour for weeding to supplement her own labour. She also has to increase her crop yield by buying fertilizer and food fly traps to improve the yield. Ama intends to use the income from the farm to expand it further, pay for the children's school fees and health insurance. Her main challenge now is finances. A micro loan will help Ama to achieve her dream. Ama and her entire group thanks all their micro lenders for their generous support.
