A loan helped a member to buy drinks and nonperishable food for her restaurant.

Mitaaba Group's story

The Mitaaba group is composed of two women who both work in the restaurant business.

Abiba has seven years experience in the restaurant business. She is married and a mother of seven children, who all go to school.

With this loan, this brave woman is going to buy drinks and procure nonperishable food products like rice, spaghetti, oil, etc. Abiba offers different menus to her clients, and this loan will allow her to diversify even more.

In addition to her restaurant, she also sells pagnes. This extra work ensures that repayments on her loan will not be difficult.

Abiba has three employees who help her with her business, who she pays each month.

With her earnings, she will be able to help her husband with their family's household expenses and continue her business.

In this group: Abiba, Alice
