A loan helped to buy more fertilizers and fruit tree seeds to increase her income.

Fatma's story

Fatma is 28 years old. She is married and has two daughters. Her husband is a master. Fatma’s family is IDP (Internally Displaced Persons), and they have lived in an IDP settlement for a long time. She earns money raising fruits and vegetables and selling them at the local bazaar. The monthly income is 150 AZN (Azerbaijan new manat), and she has five years of skills in this area.

People’s demand for fruits and vegetables is very high. Every day, they use them in preparing different kinds of fruit juice and jam and vegetable salads. People are used to buying from private gardens because foods there are cheaper than in markets.

She wants to make her family’s life better; especially, she wants to provide for her daughters' future. Fatma applied for a 600 AZN loan in order to buy more fertilizers and fruit tree seeds to increase her income. This is her first loan; please support her.
