A loan helped to purchase bales of clothes for resale.

Nuru's story

Nuru is a married mother of three children, all of whom attend school. She lives at a rental house that has electricity but not piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are school fees and transport.

For the past three years, she has operated a clothes selling business, selling from door to door to her neighbours and passersby. She faces a major challenge of the high cost of transportation. She dreams of expanding and establishing a boutique business in the future.

With the loan that she is requesting of 25,000 Kenyan shillings, she wants to purchase bales of clothes for resale. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
