Emilce is the treasurer of Solidaria Mujer Mujeres en Acción. She is a very experienced client with Fundación Mujer. Her group is made up of four members, including her. All of them are going to invest in agricultural activities. Emilce has worked in agriculture for a long time. She's 52 years old and married with four children. She only lives with one of her youngest daughters and her husband.
Emilce raises livestock. On occasion she has raised other animals and also plants crops. On top of this great success, the most important thing for her is that through the years she's been able to pay for her daughters' schooling thanks to her productive business, and since her husband's income pays for food and other basic expenses. Her two youngest daughters are currently attending university. This dedicated, hardworking woman keeps fighting to give her children the best inheritance, which, as she says, is going to school.
This new investment will be used to buy livestock such as calves, and the necessary products for their development. This will allow her to maintain the level of animal production and her income as well.
