Jema is a 30-year-old lady living with her husband and her three children, who are studying in school. She has two cows and sells milk in her village. Her husband is a farmer who helps Jema in her business. Jema's monthly income is very low. That is why she is unable to give more money to her son to get admitted to a good college.
Jema has formed a group that is called Sibani Maa Self Help group (SHG). All the members of this group are women engaged in different kinds of activities, like milk selling, vegetable selling, flower selling, etc. All the members of this group are very cooperative with each other.
Jema, along with her group, has requested a loan amount of 165,000 INR, and she will use her portion for purchasing a cow and fodder. She has a dream to educate her children and give a better standard of life to her family. She is very thankful to Kiva for this help and support.
