Aisha's story

Aisha is a 19-year-old, single women and she lives with her parents. Because of money problems in her family, she can’t get an education and has to work to earn money for her family. The members of her family are refugees and have lived in an İDP settlement for a long time. Aisha raises seasonal fruits (apples, cherry, pears and etc.) and vegetables (onions, cucumbers, potatoes) and sells these products at a local bazaar. She has been working in this field for one year and has good skills. Her monthly income is 180 AZN. Her brother is a laborer and brings the family additional income.

People prefer to buy fruits and vegetables raised in private gardens. They know that such products are always fresh and tasty. They use fruits to prepare tasty fresh juice and buy vegetables to cook different delicious national dishes. Aisha ’s income doesn’t cover life’s demands. She has applied for 1,500 AZN in order to buy new garden tools, and new sorts of fruits and vegetables to sell. She wants to support her parents, so please help Aisha.
