A loan helped to buy rice, oil, meat, sauces, sugar and milk for her store.

Victoria's story

Victoria, 45, has a shop in the community of Paragu, where she lives with her partner and their four children. In the shop she sells retail items like groceries, snacks, soda, meat, dairy, etc. which she buys wholesale at the best deals in the town where she lives. The business is run by Victoria from 6 am to 9 pm every day, selling items on credit, and more commonly, for cash. Her main customers are housewives and in general, neighbors, who buy retail items and products that they need for household consumption.

She is requesting a loan amounting to Php 12,000, with which she plans to increase the stock in her store, buying discounted products (staple items) like rice, oil, meat, sauces, sugar, milk, etc. that will help her to have an assorted inventory and to manage competitive prices.
